Women’s clothing North Carolina
I am bending over a table, folding tshirts, when suddenly someone grabs my ponytail.
I try to turn around to see the problem, but hear a voice saying “hold still, just hold still a moment.”
My hair is very long, and I’m thinking at this point that I am caught on something, so I stand very still, while I feel a yank at my ponytail. Finally, I...

i was browsing through ellen degeneres’ youtube videos and when i was watching her interview segments i noticed a trend where she keeps the comments enabled for all of her adult interviews but when she has a child on the show she disables any of the comments to protect the child from any bullying or negative feedback and that is why she and her team of producers are incredible

My dad’s a doctor. He pulled out an old textbook of his and gave me the 3 hour medical lecture. I WAS SEVEN.

sleepyhollowjacks asks: I was reading your chain of tweets about Paxil and had a question. One of the conditions that medicine is reported to treat is OCD (I have that). But isn’t OCD a productive tool for the highly creative types? Weren’t you afraid it might hinder your writing process?
I struggled with mild OCD and not-so mild paranoid ideation for decades; it was especially...

I was sitting in the library doing my homework one day when a group of thugs entered and approached me. One smiled gently and reached a hand out to me. “It’s time,” he said solemnly. “The thug life has chosen you.”

Got my hair cut today thank fuck. It feels so much nicer. I wish it didn’t grow so fast because it gets so out of control so quickly.
Went to the doctor and officially have ‘undiagnosed movement disorder’ on my file because PD has to be confirmed by a neurologist. So I have a list of them to call so I can book in and my doctor can know who to make the referral to.
Fun times,...

A guy friend of mine today said it was weird that my friend had all the X-Men movies because she was a girl. Needless to say we almost threw him out of the car. So I would like to prove to him that just because we...

Children with autism see simple movements twice as fast as their typically developing peers, new research suggests, a finding that could help explain why many with the developmental disorder are sensitive to noise, light and other stimuli.
and might also explain why I am always 1000% sure that car is going to hit me.
and then it never does.

Sometimes I feel like an indoor cat, because I like to look outside, but I don’t actually like to be outside.
and then someone opens the door and i sloooowly make my way onto the porch and then hunker in the corner and skitter at the slightest sound and eventually find myself pressed back against the door, not understanding why i’m not being let...

What if oxygen is poisonous and it just takes 75-100 years to kill us?
My science teacher said he thinks that’s true actually
Yeah this is actually pretty much exactly what is going on. It’s why anti-oxidants are such a big deal. Bonus fact: oxygen oxidizes stuff in your cells or, in other words, it’s not...

This is the story of a racist myth that began with a light-hearted letter to the New England Journal of Medicine in 1968 and subsequently exploded in North American culture — in direct opposition to every shred of scientific evidence — becoming so prevalent that credulous eaters buy into it to the point of experiencing its effects on a purely psychosomatic basis.
It’s...
